Happy Weekend! 🙂
Today I am sharing one of my favorite smoothie recipes, this raspberry walnut smoothie! Lately I have been craving walnuts {probably because they are really healthy snacks for baby} and have been adding them to just about everything. I love adding nuts to smoothies for extra protein and healthy fats. Not to worry, they blend in smoothly so you don’t notice a change in texture. Try adding almonds and cashews to your smoothies, too!
The past month has been really busy for me, so I apologize for the lack of posting. I got promoted at work, my mom threw me the most beautiful baby shower ever, and I have been getting really excited about our little pending arrival 🙂 We ordered some of the nursery furniture and I can’t wait to set it up and start organizing everything next weekend! I think that whole “nesting” thing is starting to kick in, because I have been cleaning like crazy lately.
As far as cooking goes, it has still been tough to get a lot of time in the kitchen. I am still working 45 hours a week!! I am looking forward to my maternity leave so I can start cooking more again 🙂 Thanks for all of you that keep checking in even though I haven’t been on here much lately, I really enjoy reading your comments!!

Looks wonderful and refreshing! So excited for you too!
Congrats on the promotion! And thanks for this great smoothie — love the color. And walnuts? Yes, please. 😉
Congratulations on your promotion – how exciting. 🙂 I can tell you – I am absolutely loving this smoothie with nuts in it. I love including nuts in my smoothie and the color is gorgeous!
Thanks Kristi!
Can you add kale or similar?
Definitely!
