Out of the Kitchen for a Few Days…

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

This week is totally crazy for me because I have midterms + classes + work + trying to finish up some wedding planning stuff. The good thing is that the quarter is 1/2 way over…hooray! The bad thing is that unlike finals week, midterms are in the middle of ongoing classes…blah. I have been hitting the snooze button way too many times this week, and haven't even had time to make myself breakfast before heading out the door. I discovered these Quaker Soft Baked Bars that make a pretty tasty breakfast snack in the morning. My favorite flavor is the cinnamon pecan bread. When I don't have time to bake snacks to take along with me to school, these are great. I used to rely on muffins and donuts (gasp) to get me through the first morning lecture, but for the past year I switched over to healthier, more wholesome foods such as a smoothie, homemade granola bars, or other bars with balanced nutrition. You still have to watch out for the sugar content on some of the prepackaged breakfast bars that are in the stores these days, but there are many healthier choices as well! I hope you all are having a less stressful week than I am, and enjoying some beautiful Spring weather outside! XoXo
